The award recognizes works that are distinguished by the following criteria:

• Level of innovation of the topic

• Relevance with regard to current topics in health care

• Quality of architectural design and /or urban planning concept

• Quality of conceptional & graphical implementation

Charité special award:

• Exceptional focus on sustainability and resource-efficiency
