SELECTION CRITERIA

The award recognizes works that are distinguished by the following criteria:

• Level of innovation of the topic

• Relevance with regard to current topics in health care

• Quality of architectural design and /or urban planning concept

• Quality of conceptional & graphical implementation

Charité special award:

• Exceptional focus on sustainability and innovation

Note
A clear and substantial focus on health-related issues must be evident in the submitted project. Health and architecture should not merely be addressed as a supporting aspect or discussed in the accompanying text, but should form a central part of the project’s concept and design approach. Projects in which the health-related dimension is not sufficiently evident may be excluded from the judging process.
