Dipl.-Ing. Arch Susanne Glade

Susanne Glade studied architecture at the University of Hannover, at the ETH Zürich and at the Politecnico di Milano. She worked as a project architect in Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen and in Milan at Gregotti associati international before she founded GO+ architekten with C.Ostermeyer.
She worked on several projects and competitions with a focus on healthcare architecture and design of school buildings and new educational concepts.

2006 she worked as a scientific assistant at Berlin University of Technology at the department “Architecture for Health” of Prof. Christine Nickl-Weller for the first biannual symposium Healthcare of the Future. Since 2009 she is guest lecturer at the II level Master course “Architecture for health” in Rome at the Università della Sapienza and at the Politecnico di Milano, also speaker at several congresses, for example the SIAS Congress in Florenz and at the University of Alghero „i colori dell’umanizzazione“ with architects, doctors, philosophers and sociologists.

2014 she moderated the launch event of the AKG award for outstanding healthcare buildings at the BDA Stuttgart. She is author of articles in architectural journals and books. In 2012 she made a research for healthcare architecture of the future in denmark which was published in a full issue of the Bauwelt.
