Advance! Review - Summer School 2023

The 2nd international ENAH Summer School
HOSPITAL + THE CITY took place at Charité Berlin
International participants explored hospital planning trends in relation to urban contexts.
The week-long program included lectures, workshops, visits, and group work. The final presentations were made in front of guests from Charité and Berlin Senate Administration. The focus of the school was on interdisciplinary dialogue, defining hospital planning at the intersection of public health, healthcare, urban planning, and architecture.
The school gathered over 20 participants from 12 nations with diverse professional backgrounds, including experienced professionals, students, and doctoral candidates.
We would like to thank our cooperation partners Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin and TU Berlin! Special thanks also to the Hans and Christine Nickl Foundation for supporting three young architects' participation in the summer school!
