Magnus Nickl

Magnus Nickl


Magnus Nickl completed his master degree in architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland, in 2014. During his time at university, he worked as a teaching assistant at the Chair for the History of Urban Design, ETH Zurich. His primary teaching and research focus lay on the historic development of urban cores. During a three- year research stay in Singapore, Magnus conducted urban development projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Currently, he is completing his PhD, which deals with urbanization processes in Singapore and Indonesia. For Nickl & Partner, Magnus assisted in setting up the new office in Zurich and is responsible for implementing two major projects in Switzerland: the new Research and Laboratory Building (BSSE) in Basel and the construction of the new hospital in Baden. Magnus is, in addition, supervising the new office of Nickl & Partner in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In his work for the ENAH advisory board Magnus represents the Nickl Foundation.
