Since 2006, this symposium Health Care of the Future serves as a creative platform in Berlin for discussions on current developments in healthcare and their impact on healthcare facility design as well as the implications for architecture and urbanism.

The 10th symposium discusses the challenges of fair and humane healthcare structures in Germany and other European countries. The focus will be on the question of how innovative and future-oriented hospitals and health care landscapes can be created considering current disruptions, such as the planned hospital reform in Germany, the increasing shortage of staff, climate change, and rapidly advancing digitalisation.
