AWARD 2022 - REGISTRATION CLOSED

We are proud to present the third edition of Nickl Foundation's

Architecture for Health Student Award .

The award recognizes master students who have excelled in a thesis on Architecture for Health.

This is intended to promote working in the field of

healthcare architecture or architecture & urbanism for health

and to encourage students in their motivation to engage in this important topic

Projects can be submitted from the fields of

• architecture • urban planning • landscape planning •

The work should have a strong relation to current health care issues.

In addition to designs for hospitals, healthcare buildings and residential buildings for people with special needs, works in relation to healthy urban planning, sports & wellness or

health & hospitality can be submitted.

In addition we are honored to present the

CHARITÉ SPECIAL PRIZE

"Healing people – protecting the climate"

"Menschen heilen – Klima schonen!"

In collaboration with the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin one student work with exceptional focus on sustainability, climate protection in connection to hospitals will receive a special recognition.

Who should apply?

Master students who have presented their master thesis after December 31, 2019.

How to apply?

Please fill in the application form online and upload the requested documents.

After successful submission of the application you will receive a confirmation by email.

Submission deadline: October 31, 2021

Background information

The Architecture for Health Students' Award is part of the Nickl Foundation Scholarship program. The aim of Nickl Foundation is to directly promote the sustainability of health care by networking research findings of urban planning and architecture with public health care, medical technology, and health economics.

With the Scholarship program, the foundation pursues the goal of promoting young scientists by scholarships and awards in accordance with its charter.
