This kick-off webinar for the COST-network "Urbanism & Architecture, a catalyst for healthy neighbourhoods"- functions as its official introduction. Apart from an introduction and networking event of all its members, three case studies will be elaborated upon by the representatives of their country with presentations from Senaida Halilović-Terzić, Nassim Mehran, Pál András Rutkai, Ian Chaplin, Orsolya Mátyus. These case studies will serve as the basis for a preliminary research matrix for our case-studies.

• Bosnia, Sarajevo: Alipasino Polje, a socialist housing estate from the 1970s
• Germany, Berlin: Neukölln and/or Wedding, late nineteenth century
• Hungary, Budapest: The eighth district, with a focus on the urban renewal areas of the 1980s 

The webinar will be hosted by ENAH, on the 11th of January at 10:30 am (CET).

The event is exclusive to the members of the COST-network Urbanism & Architecture, a catalyst for healthy neighbourhoods. Members of ENAH and those affiliated to the Expertise Center Architecture Urbanism and Health, the editors of Cities and Health, and the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health may also join, but cannot participate in the decision making processes.
