Healthy City

Lecture series "City Diagnoses"
– an instrument for healthy cities organized by the Global Urban Health Community of the Global Health Hub Germany.
The Global Urban Health Community, perceives cities as spaces of opportunity for diverse futures due to their dynamic development. In a policy brief on Urban Health last year, various areas for transformation towards healthy cities were explored. A key recommendation is the necessity of localized "city diagnoses" to identify the individual action areas of a city and develop targeted measures. Together with interested parties and invited practitioners, the aim is to concretize the instrument of "city diagnosis."
The lecture series provides an overview of various instruments and initiatives that collect data on parameters related to urban health in a localized, integrative, and/or participatory manner. Invited are experts from academia and practice, who will share their experiences, implementation challenges, and opportunities of their instruments and initiatives. The insights from the lecture series will be compiled into a concluding document.
Global Health Hub Germany invites you to become part of this process. Participation in the lecture series requires a non-binding registration.
